Art Deco Opal Cube

An Art Deco period opal glass cube (with canted corners) surface mounted light with chrome plated cast brass mount. English, 1920-30s. Cleaned, polished, rewired (new chrome plated BC lampholder). There is a chip to the rim of the shade- it is held securely on three screws. There are two screw holes to so it can easily be screwed to the ceiling, pattress or a standard back box. Dimensions in inches/cms; 8"/20.5cm width and depth (ie. square). 9"/23cm tall inc. gallery. 2.8kg (gallery alone is 1.2kg).
