Osler Plafonnier

A splendid early 20th century light fitting by F & C Osler, the large satin etched and cut glass bowl with a reeded & tied silver plated cast brass mount. Complete with all the original matching parts one could hope for; chains, decorative "hanger" with large loop, hooked ceiling plate (supplied with slotted head screws) and the 3 armed lampholder mount (all original silver plated brass including the three Bc lampholders). In excellent complete condition.Some fading to silver plate but has a lovely overall colour (not brassy). Cleaned, "polished", fully rewired (2m dark brown fabric flex, earthed, pat tested), ready to be installed. Dimensions in inches/cms; 19.50"/50cm diameter. Approx 25"/64cm drop from the top of the hanging loop to the base of the shade. The hooked ceiling plate adds 3"/7.5cm in drop and any further drop required can be achieved by adding chain bewteen the hooked ceiling plate and the hanging loop. Weight is 8kg (glass bowl alone weighs 4.76kg). There are several close up photos of all the parts including one showing every part that comes with the light.
