Opal Column Oil Lamp

A handsome and fresh looking antique oil lamp base with a tapered opal shaft, large attic base and square plinth. English, 19th century. Excellent quality, cast gilt brass parts. Taken apart, cleaned, iron base weight polished and waxed. Rewired with 3m fabric flex, bronzed brass safety-switched lampholder, 3amp traditional phenolic plug. Pat tested. Dimensions in inches/cms; 20.5"/52cm tall inc. lampholder. 5.25"/13.5cm x 5.25"/13.5cm base. Weight 2.98kg.
