Kashmiri Papier Mache Lamp

A small and charming papier mache table lamp painted with foliage and birds on a pale ochre ground. Kashmir, first half 20th century. Very lightly cleaned and waxed (best microcrystalline clear). Rewired with 2.5m fabric flex, old lampholder, 3amp plug. Pat tested. Very good condition, minor scuffs and wear. Dimensions in inches/cms; 7.5"/19cm tall x 7"/18cm max diameter. 0.56kg weight.
