Pair Mahogany Gothic Armchairs

A pair of "gothic revival" chamfered mahogany armchairs with thick shaped slab seats, X-frame legs joined with a turned stretcher and original horsehair & leather upholstery. English 19th century. Sturdy, comfortable, some nice colour. They are comfortable. Upholstery is okay and useable, could be redone or reinforced in places. Dimensions in inches/cms; 32"/81.5cm tall. 27.5"/70cm max depth. 23.75"/60cm max width (at arm rests) Seat width is 21.625"/52.5cm wide at the front (and 17.5"/45cm wide at the rear). Seat depth is 20"/51cm. Seat height is approx 16.25"/41cm. Seat thickness is just over 2.25"/6cm.
