Antique Iron Oval Grate

An antique wrought iron oval grate with attractive scroll decoration. English, early 19th century. All forged and riveted construction. Later grate base. Excellent condition. This has been well rubbed up / polished and protected with several coats of finest clear microcrystalline wax. Dimensions in inches/cms; 26"/66cm max width. 23.25"/59cm tall. Approx 14"/35cm max depth. Interior grate space; 13.5"/24cm wide x 6"/15cm height x 8.5"/22cm deep.
