Mahogany & Maple Ships Table

An unusual old ships / boats/ yachts table with a mahogany drop leaf top and maple trestle ended base and an iron stretcher. A very usefull size (see dimensions below) with three depth options allowing a multitude of uses including beig stowed / used as a side table Alterations; maybe a marriage, originally the top (probably earlier) tilted ( see brass mechanism). Quality timbers. Approx mid century and earlier. Overall good sturdy condition, odd scratch and mark to the top but not rough. Dimensions in inches/cms; 29.5"/75cm tall. 72.25"/183.5cm wide. Max depth with both leaves up is 39"/99cm. Depth with one leaf up is 30.75"/78cm. Depth with both leaves down is 22"/56cm.
