Flexi Stem Shell Shade Desk Lamp

An antique desk lamp with a brass flexi stem, angle sided oblong base with original dark green "wrinkled" paint. Paired with a chromed brass period shell shade. English, c1940. Fully cleaned, lightly polished brass parts and (museum) waxed base. Rewired with 2.5m fabric flex (exposed), new push button swith and traditional phenolic plug. New patinated brass grommet (flex outlet). New fabric base. Pat tested. Dimensions in inches/cms; 19.75"/50cm max height (16"/40cm normal working height). Base is 6.625"/16.25cm by 3.5"/9cm.
