Flexi-Stem Desk Lights
A near pair of antique brass "flexi-stem" desk / work/ task lamps with moulded dished bases, spiral sub stems and brass flexi-stems and each paired with antique nickel plated shell shades. English early 20th century 1920s. Probably GEC models. One has it's original oxidesed copper patination , the other in faded brass (this may originally have been sold as a polished brass one or the original patination wore off). Rewired with 2.5m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholders and traditional plugs. Pat tested. Both very good condition, lightly polished and cleaned with the cast iron bases nicely rubbed up, polished and waxed (smooth finish). The darker one is SOLD. Lighter one available. Dimensions in inches/cms; Approx. 15"/38cm tall to top of lampholders (16"/41cm typical working max height). 20"/51cm max "straight up" height.
