Good Industrial Lamp

A good antique industrial table / work / desk lamp with flexible brass stem, adjustable brass joints and a cast iron circular base. English, early 20th century. Original paint. Fully dis- and re-assembled, cleaned, polished, waxed (micro-crystalline) and matched with a period shade that has been resprayed satin white internally to improve the quality and colour of the light. The flexi stem is strong and fully adjustable, the ball joint at the top of the stem adjusts the shade angle. The stem can also adjust with the brass joint halfway up - see photos. Complete with no missing parts. Rewired with 3 meters black fabric flex, a new safety-switched lampholder and a traditional hard plastic plug. Dimensions in inches/cms; 27.5"/70cm max. height (vertical). Typical height in use to ball joint at top of flexi stem is 20.5"/52cm. Base diameter is 6"/15cm. 3.25kg.
