Hadrill & Horstmann Counterbalance Lamp

An early 1950s "Pluslight" counterbalanced lamp made by Hadrill & Horstmann Ltd, Godalming, England with an integrated fold out glass magnifying lens. This version a little rarer than the others. Fully adjustable, the solid steel "roller" counterbalance keeping the lamp steady in all positions. In excellent condtion: the lamp taken apart and cleaned; the base, weight and shade resprayed; rebuilt and rewired with approx 3 meters black fabric flex, antiqued brass cord grip / switched lampholder and traditional hard plastic plug. Dimensions in inches/cms; Approx. 24"/61cm max depth (with magnifier folded away). Base is 6"/15cm square.Roller is 6"/15cm wide. Max height approx. 21"/53cm.
