Satellite Pendant Lights by Vilhelm Wohlerets 1960s
A run of three "Satellite" pendant lights designed by Vilhelm Wohlert for Louis Poulsen in 1959. These are original 1960s versions. Matt white opal glass mouth-blown globe shades, having upturned necks and open bottoms with brass grippers and stems (the stems can be adjusted lower so they aren't as visible) They are the smaller 10inch / 25 cm diameter version. There were three sizes originally - for different sized rooms / areas. In very good condition rewired with 1.5 meters clear flex with internal strain cable. Please note the lines showing when the globes are lit are due to the wrong bulbs(led filament strips) being used. Opal glass bulbs will avoid this or regular halogen bulbs. Also i have a further four of these pendants available in the larger size of 14"/35cm diameter. Again original 1960s versions. Priced individually. Dimensions in inches/cms; 10.25"/26cm tall (not including brass stems) 9.75"/25cm diamter. Opening at base is 4"/10cm.
