Exceptional Bronze Bankers / Desk Lamp

An exceptional and large scale antique bronze (or bronze patinated brass) bankers / desk lamp of superb colour and quality. The "tortoise shell" bakelite tough shade is made of bakelite, all the fittings, tapered square stem, the concave and stepped square base are made of cast brass. The base is additionally weighted with a cast iron insert. Rewired with 3 meters dark brown fabric flex, a quality in-line switch and traditional hard plastic/bakelite plug. Dimensions in inches/cm 18"/46cm tall to the top of the column Approx. 24"/62cm is the maximum useable height (the yoke arm adjusts with a large Knurled knob, and the shade rotates up and down) The shade is 9"/23cm wide.
