Antique Industrial Occasional Table -Meyrowitz Base

An antique industrial table with an adjustable cast iron base by E.B.Meyrowitz ( Emil Bruno Meyrowitz formed this company in 1875 and retailed spectacles, optical instruments and and devices from stores in London, Paris and new York ) This rare base was designed to carry an optical instrument of some sort and has now been converted into a useful table with the addition of an 18th century Georgian one piece mahogany table top. The base is in perfect condition and has been thoroughly cleaned and waxed and retains its original paint. c1900 THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION.
