oak +cast iron folding chairs circa 1850
A wonderful and rare set of folding chairs in good working order.Similar to cinema seats except these have solid oak seats and back rests and have come from an old Salvation Army building built in the 1850's.The oak seats and back are in one piece and are shaped-they are comfortable to sit in.There is some beautiful figuring in the oak grain.Seat height is 17".Width of seat overall is approx 18.5".Dimensions of oak seat are 16.5" wide by 12.75" deep.Max height is 32.75".There are 114 seats in the set. Please be aware that as these seats each share a cast iron "end" with its neighbour the price of one seat (standing alone with two cast iron "ends" or sides) will be greater than the price per seat bought in quantity (i advise these to be used in at least a row of two, peferably 3+ for stability.Further / better pictures sent on request.I can organise transport if necessary.
